Down A.K.A. Kilo’s Cholo Skate CD Release party @ El Pueblo Viejo blew the roof off the house. TMZ caught wind of it and rushed to the site. Comedienne Luenell hosted

Iconic Mexican rapper Down A.K.A. Kilo threw a party that was so poppin; it blew the roof off the house. TMZ squads got wind of it and sent in their crews in full force. Little did they know that Pueblo Viejo restaurant on trendy Melrose Ave., the site of the party, would become Cholo Skate city and initiation into the party for men was to guzzle down tequila like it was throat gargle and to “Put Your Locs On” (sunglasses courtesy of
City Locs also the new single title by Down A.K.A. Kilo feat. Jah Free).

There were a lot of Hollywood notables in the house who love Latin music and could handle the heat, the drinks and the guzzling.

They included: Certified hoodie from the block and honorary Latina, comedienne Luenell, hangin’ big time with the Cholos, as well as Ernest Thomas (Everybody Hates Chris), Cisco Reyes (Next Day Air), radio personality Tony Montana, filmmaker

Joey Medina, theatre princess Juliette Fairley, R&B Singer Une’, BET Comic View comedienne Annie McKnight, rocker Frankee Razor (American Idol), music producer Fingazz, rapper Short Stop, Fiu Fiu Brazilian Bikini model Allyson Flores, rapper Ronin Gray, actress Kikey Castillo (Imagen award winner), Sam Bell (celeb fitness trainer), boxer “Ferocious” Fernando Vargas, child rapper Bam Bam, rapper
Lil’ Poncho V and The Young Hustlers; rap group 2-Uneek, model Dora Albino, singer Meena; The King of Latin Internet Gordon Vasquez, Belizean music video director Dale Stelly (Put Your Locs On), famed music manager Rick Valenzuela, famed R&B A&R rep Bruce Jones, guitarist Albert Buyco, Toneo (Toneo Talk)and music video director KC Amos (son of John Amos) were among the party-goers.

The party continued to swirl with music, food, drinks and lots of media. There was a brief pause when filmmaker Demetrius Navarro presented Kilo with a birthday surprise, a promo clip from their new film together “Lean Like a Cholo” in which
Down A.KA. Kilo serves as executive producer and Demetrius directs.

Ready for more play action, cameras continued to pop hot shots late into the evening.
Die-hard dancers such as radio personality Toneo (Toneo Talk radio show) with the help of some pretty models and actress Erlinda Orozco formed a soul train line and continued to burn a whole through the floor all night long. From the roof through the floor, everyone partied so hard; it was like a tornado had hit the spot.
