- Down's brand new video "Cholo Skate" will be premiering on MTV Tr3s this Friday(3/6) on "Fresh New Music Weekend" Show. Fresh Music Weekend airs Friday @ 1:30 P.M. Eastern Time. Fresh Music Monday airs Monday @ 10:00 A.M., 1:30 P.M. and 6:30 P.M.

- KKDA K104 Dallas TX will be launching a new show this weekend February 28th hosted by Play-N-Skillz local rappers and production team. Show can be heard on Saturdays 3-7 pm.
- Art Laboe was awarded the Diamond Circle Award on January 30, 2009 at their annual luncheon in Burbank CA. The award is given to Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters (PPB) members that have contribute to the development of broadcasting and are at least 75. Art Laboe has been in radio throughout Southern CA. for over 60 years. Art Laboe is most known for his Oldies and dedication syndicate show and he's "Oldie But Goodies" album series in the 50 and 60's.

- Latina rapper Flakiss formerly on Univision has signed to indy label Rise High Records based out of Pasadena CA. Byron Brizuela, founder of the label, will be releasing Flakiss new album "24/7" which will be releaesed this spring distributed by Select-O-Hits.
